David first became involved with Financial Beginnings as a volunteer teaching our programming to incarcerated high school students that were within a year of their release. More recently, David has been teaching financial literacy to students in Johnson County, Kansas and co-teaching entrepreneurship to 8th graders in Wyandotte County, Kansas. David has witnessed first-hand the impact financial education has on young people. He is excited about the prospect of introducing a Financial Beginnings affiliate to the greater Kansas City area, and is eager to rally support from the community.

Financial Beginnings Missouri is currently welcoming people interested in becoming volunteers, advisory committee members, sponsors, and affiliate office team members. We seek connections to educators, community-based organizations, financial institutions, post-secondary education and workforce development programs, and community leaders.
